All 75 of my 9th-grade students were issued iPads this year. I have found fun and effective uses for them in my Algebra classroom, from Classkick to Desmos. I particularly love when students ask questions that we can investigate immediately by doing basic research on the iPads. The only drawback to having the iPads is the constant charging. 9th-grade students are not the most diligent about keeping their equipment charged. They often have to share with another student who has let their battery run out. A super charger would be the perfect solution to keep my students charged up and ready to learn!
