When you pair your Tubular with your computer or mobile phone for the first time, make sure you hold the Multi-function key down long enough so that you start seeing the LED indicator blink in red and blue.
Before reaching that stage, you will hear four tones but DO NOT release the key at that moment. Keep holding it until you see the blinking LED indicator.
To fully control playback from Tubular, your Bluetooth device must be compatible with AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile). Some Bluetooth devices, for example iPhone and iPod Touch, are only partially compatible with AVRCP; they can pair with Tubular but not necessarily accept all commands. However, even in those cases you can still control playback from your Bluetooth device.
For more details on Apple products' compatibility with Bluetooth profiles, please refer to Apple's support site.
You can listen to music on Tubular with any Bluetooth-enabled computer or mobile device that supports A2DP (Advanced Audio Distribution Profile). *
In addition, if your device supports AVRCP (Audio/Video Remote Control Profile), you can control playback from Tubular, such as play/pause and previous/next track. For more details about your device's Bluetooth compatibility, please refer to its user manual.
* Some mobile devices are partially compatible with A2DP or AVRCP. In those cases, you might not be able to use all playback controls or even pair with Tubular.
