Turn Any Surface into an Interactive Whiteboard

The IPEVO Wireless Interactive Whiteboard System Short Throw Version, or IW2S, is a compact 3-piece system that turns any surface – including walls and soft projector screens – into an interactive whiteboard for learning and presentations. Different from its predecessor, IW2S is specially designed for using with your ceiling-mounted short-throw projector. Once set up, you can use it to control your computer’s cursor. And if you have any annotation software installed on your computer, you can also use IW2S to draw/annotate on your projected surface.

Wireless Yet Does Not Require WiFi

WiFi is not required to benefit from IW2S’s wireless functionality as IW2S uses technology similar to a wireless mouse.

Please note: Computer and projector are not included in the package. You need to have an existing computer and projector to pair with the IW2S.

Fully Utilize Your IW2S Using Different Software

IW2S is compatible with a variety of software and applications, as long as they recognize mouse actions. However, in order to fully utilize your IW2S, we recommend using it with IPEVO Annotator. IPEVO Annotator is packed full of annotation tools that allow you to draw and annotate freely on images projected onto the screen. Screenshot, screen recording, and other useful features are also available to further enhance your IW2S experience.

Besides IPEVO Annotator, you can also use IW2S with fun and interactive drawing software such as Google AutoDraw or Quick, Draw! to sharpen your drawing skills, or create professional drawings using photo editing software such as Photoshop, GIMP and others. In addition, you can use IW2S to play educational games such as Simple States Lite or abcya.com, or even take your audience on a world trip with Google Earth.

Is my projector suitable for using with IW2S?

IW2S is designed specifically for use with ceiling-mounted short-throw projectors. This means that short-throw projectors that are NOT ceiling-mounted, ultra short-throw projectors, and standard projectors are not compatible with IW2S.

IW2S requires a minimal distance of 20 inches (50cm) to work and has a maximum effective range of 48 inches (120cm). Therefore, before getting an IW2S, please check that your projector is mounted at least 20 inches away from the screen, and not more than 48 inches away. In addition, your screen size will also affect IW2S’s functionality. IW2S can only cover a screen size of 50’’ when placed at the minimum distance of 20 inches, and 100” when placed at the maximum distance of 48 inches. • How do I pair the Sensor Cam with the Wireless Receiver?

By default, your Sensor Cam is already paired with the Wireless Receiver that comes with it. That said, if you are using a replacement Wireless Receiver or Sensor Cam, you need to pair them before use. To pair your devices:

    1. Place the Sensor Cam within 1.6 ft (50cm) of your computer.
    2. Power up the Sensor Cam. The Sensor Cam LED indicator should show a blinking Orange.
Note: Do NOT plug the Wireless Receiver into your computer’s USB port during this step.
    3. Press the Pairing Button for 3 seconds to enter Pairing Mode. The Sensor Cam LED indicator should blink alternately between Orange and Green.
    4. Plug the Wireless Receiver into your computer’s USB port. The Sensor Cam LED indicator will blink Green three times before changing to a solid Green, which lets you know the pairing is successful.
  • The cursor on my screen is jumping around abnormally and I am not able to control it. How can I solve this?

Remove any strong light source or infrared equipment such as infrared wireless microphone close to the Sensor Cam, as these may interfere with the Sensor Cam.
